Recirculating Systems

ARC’s recirculation systems allow for splash pad design to focus on creating enhanced water play in a safe environment without being dictated by water consumption concerns. ARC’s recirculation system provides this enhanced experience in a water quality treatment system that is safe and easy to operate.

Equipment operating systems are available in either above ground skid mounted systems or underground vault systems. Operating systems will provide complete filtration and chemical treatment of water to ensure safe water play. Operating systems are UL Listed and incorporate NSF listed equipment. Each Recirculation system is designed for project specific needs. All operating systems are provided with the following pre-plumbed, prewired components:

• Filtration Skid

• Control Panel

• Chemical Treatment System

• Underground Water Reservoir

• Feature Pump Skid

• Distribution Manifold

• Activation Bollard

• Drain to Waste Valve Box

• Optional Underground Vault Enclosure

• Optional Above Ground Skid Enclosure

• Optional Water Heater

• Collector Boxes

Filtration Skid to provide 24hr a day recirculation and filtration of water in underground water reservoir tank. System are designed for project specific turnover needs with a minimum of 30-minute turnover rate.
Control Panels are used for on / off operation of water play activities and central power distribution to complete splash pad recirculation system. Panels are programmable allowing to set hours of operation, set duration for spray activities, desired zoning or sequencing of spray features.
Chemical Treatment systems to provide both chlorine feed and pH control feed systems. Chemical outputs are automatic with a continuous chemical monitor system that adds needed chlorine and pH solutions to maintain ideal safe water quality per local and state health department requirements.
Underground Water Reservoir Tank an underground vessel either made of concrete or fiberglass reinforced plastic with a capacity specifically designed for each splash pad project. Vault to include access hatch, access ladder, vent pipes, water level control sensors, overflow outlet, floating skimmer, perimeter inlet loop, submersible pump-out system and all piping and electrical connections.
Feature Pump Skid to provide water flow for all spray elements o create water effects. Feature pump is turned on by control system when activation bollard is touched during hours of operation.
Distribution Manifold are preplumbed water delivery systems from feature pump skid to water play activities. Manifolds consist of manual flow control valves to regulate flow to each play element and optional electric control valves when sequencing or zoning water play activities.
Collector Box To consist of a fiberglass sump with grate top and perforated screen. Collector box to have auto drain outlet that will allow evacuation of water in splash pad drainage area during non-use periods.
Activation Bollard are a touch sensor devise that allows patrons to turn on the water spray features. The activation bollard is operated through the control panel and only operates during set hours of operation.

Underground Equipment Enclosures A watertight enclosure made of fiberglass reinforced plastic or concrete that will house filtration system, control panel, feature pump, and distribution manifold. Vault enclosure to include access hatch, ladder entry, interior light, power ventilation, submersible pump well, piping / electrical connections, and stainless steel anchoring hardware.

Above Ground Equipment Above ground equipment enclosures can house filtration system, control panel, chemical treatment equipment, feature pump, and distribution manifold. Enclosure is vented to allow for air movement and lower screened drainage openings to allow for water drainage.
